We stayed at Origen for four days and it was perfect! The location in the middle of the jungle was amazing, surrounded by a river and abundant wildlife. The communal area/restaurant had a relaxed and sociable vibe, and the food was delicious. The private cabins were clean and beautiful, and the family that runs the hostel is incredibly friendly and welcoming. Conversations with them were the highlight of our trip. The meals were tasty and the portions were good. Highly recommend Origen!
Can't recommend this hotel highly enough.

This hostel is a hidden gem! The family that runs it is incredibly friendly and welcoming. The private cabins are clean and beautiful, and the meals served are tasty and generous. We loved getting to know the family and the other guests, and our conversations with them were the highlight of our trip. The location, nestled in the jungle just a short walk from the main road, adds to the charm and unique experience of staying here.
There were a couple of minor downsides. when the electricity went out, we couldn't check out as early as we wanted because they couldn't process our payment.

I felt right at home at Origen. The lovely family running the place made me feel like part of their family. They went above and beyond to accommodate my needs and provided great suggestions for activities and hikes in the area. The hostel facilities were top-notch, blending seamlessly with the surrounding jungle. The location was convenient, tucked away in the middle of nature with streams and beautiful scenery all around. I had an outstanding experience and can't wait to come back!

The location of the hostel was truly unique, nestled in the middle of the jungle and surrounded by a beautiful river. It provided an authentic and relaxing experience. The hostel itself had a great combination of traditional and modern elements, with well-designed rooms that catered to different needs. The dorms were spacious with mosquito nets on the windows, ensuring a comfortable stay. The highlight of the hostel was the huge pool, which was heated and perfect for chilling out. The owners and staff were extremely friendly and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The restaurant offered delicious vegan and vegetarian meals, and the breakfast was one of the best we had in Colombia.
Finding the hostel at night was quite challenging due to the lack of visible signs and lighting. It is recommended to arrive before nightfall to avoid any difficulties.

The atmosphere here is incredible! The owners and staff are like one big family, and they make you feel so welcomed and at home. They go above and beyond to ensure you have a great time. The natural pool they recommended was absolutely amazing, and the hike there was an adventure in itself. Plus, they offer mountain biking which my friend loved. The location is perfect, surrounded by breathtaking nature and close to secluded beaches. And the food they serve is delicious!
It's worth mentioning that the public transport can be a bit unreliable at times, but the owners always find a solution. , the toilets and showers are a little far from the dorm, which can be a bit inconvenient.

For the money we paid, we got great value. The room was comfortable and clean, and the location was like paradise. The staff at Origen were incredibly attentive and friendly, making us feel right at home during our stay.
Menu for breakfast could be improved with more variety and options.

I had an incredible stay at this amazing hostel in the middle of the jungle. The location is exclusive and tucked away from the busy streets, surrounded by the soothing sounds of the forest. Origen, a family-run establishment, has put so much love and attention into every detail of this brand new spot. The food is exceptionally delicious, with affordable prices and a focus on locally grown ingredients. The rooms are stunning, and the staff is friendly and always ready to help. I especially enjoyed waking up to the beautiful sounds of birds in the morning. The dining and chill area is great, and the swimming pool is fantastic. an amazing experience!
Couldn't find any faults at all! 😊

I had an incredible experience at a hostel in the middle of the jungle! The environment was amazing and the facilities were great, especially considering the location. I loved being close to the entrance of Tayrona Park. The communal space with hammocks and the nice pool added to the charm. The staff provided wristbands so there was no need for cash.
While there were some drawbacks, like the difficulty in finding the location and the lack of WiFi in the rooms, the overall experience was still enjoyable. The private rooms could use mosquito nets and there was only one food option for lunch and dinner.
